Construction begins for Bosch, Stanbic and DHL at the WestPark

Construction began today at the WestPark in Takoradi for the first group of tenants, including Bosch, Stanbic and DHL. Members of the Yabiw and Shama communities came to witness the occasion as the WestPark’s vision of building a world-class industrial and business park for West Africa is taking shape. Nana Wienu II, the traditional Chief of Yabiw, emphasized that “the surrounding communities are committed to attracting leading global and local companies and contribute to an industrialized economy and His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo’s vision of a ‘Ghana Beyond Aid’.

The WestPark is a 405-acre commercial, industrial and residential development in a strategic location in Takoradi, Western Region, Ghana. The mixed-use development addresses the challenges – including access to reliable power, water, transport and telecommunications – that often confront companies in Sub-Saharan Africa and provides modern and reliable infrastructure to its tenants. The WestPark offers custom-built warehouses, factories, offices, and retail space to its tenants in conjunction with business development services to ease their entry into one of the world’s fastest-growing markets.
